Disappointment seems to motivate me and made me more determine in doing things. (=
Anyway, I need to grab a hold of myself now and live my life to its fullness. I hope that she will do the same.

Finally after much struggle I went to sign up for Muay Thai!
And I made a pair of new specs.
I believe I'm going to love my new specs. (=

After weeks, I decided to start blogging.

Yesterday, I went for a little shopping trip on my own after I attend my driving lesson. Bought a vest from topman, a shirt from uniclo and a sweater from Gap.
I love them all~ Met debb and accompany, watched New moon with them~

Anyway I like my blog's layout, simple and nothing too fanciful.
Hope Monday will come faster, for a friend will be back. (:

Don't go lucky plaza to buy things there, unless you know what you are getting!!

It never come across my mind that such incident will happen in Singapore, and the fact that there's nothing much we can do, but to be under the mercy of the merchants.

Went to this particular game shop located at Lucky Plaza, is happy to know such offers, but it turns out to be a "scam" from the shop. Merchandise is agreed to be paid at $450 but merchant swipe the VISA card and charge $790, without our acknowledgement. Thus, merchant's copy was not signed.

Out of anger, we left the shop without buying the item. However, the transaction still went through.

Shortly after the "failed" deal, we went to the nearest ATM to check the balance, but just to realise that the transaction is in process. Calls were made to the bank, the bank operator actually told me; there's nothing much they can do, and they can't stop the transaction. Even though i told them I didn't sign the merchant's copy.

Even though we notify the bank about this situation, we were asked to wait for 2 working days, for the merchant to reverse back the sum, as the bank cannot stop the transaction.

However, the merchant doesn't seems to have any integrity to reverse back the money. By third working day, the money is still not reversed. Bank should really improve their service, according to the person i spoke to, it will take 2 months for investigation. I wonder why didn't the bank freeze the amount, but continue with the transaction. Even the merchant didn't submit the merchant's copy.

The bank should really educate us how the Debit VISA card works! It seems to be more unsafe than NETs. For NETS, at least you can choose not to key in the pin # when you see the figures is not right! For VISA, be it you sign or didn't sign, the bank still process! Even you notify the bank about it.

Anyway, remember to ask the merchant's for the copy and keep the copies for reference.

After 7 days of waiting of news from the bank. I approached the shop directly to ask for the reverse of the full sum money, but the shop actually said its not their business practice to do so. They can only give me a refund of $510, instead of the full sum of $790, as $280 is for the work they had done for this failed deal.

After feeling itimidated by the merchants, we approached the police to act as the neutral party to the dispute.

Through the police conversation with the shop keepers, I realise that this shop had past records of the similar cases as mine. Attract the consumer with low price, but end up paying much more of the agreed price.

Anyway, the words of the people there is always flipping here and there. I guess they are "inter-linked" somehow. So be careful when you decide to shop there!!

Yesterday woke up late, at 730am wasted cab fare there.

Tiring day! woke up at 6am then work till 3pm follow by lunch with winny and li ying. They are so sweet, came to SMU, and bought me chippy's cheese sausage with mash potato.
Went church service, Pastor Phil preached. End the day with supper at macdonald. Supposingly to have steamboat... anyway didnt manage to eat due to some reason... haha

Working is not easy, you don know what im going thru, thats all i can say.
I don like office job. Limit: 1 year.

I must say that I'm not a family oriented person.

CNY 2009

This year CNY, I'm not filled with the atmosphere of it. Maybe its because i still gotta study after CNY. I pray hard that i will be able to scrap through this semester. I need a break from studies.
Spend my first day of CNY at 2 grandaunt's house. Second night of CNY at SL's hse. Lost quite abit of money, but didn't really feel the pinch yet... LMAO...

Why is it that time passes so fast?
